Setup
1. Keep the cards organized by category and color inside their designated sections in the box. Do not shuffle them together.
2. Place all four decks face down within reach of the group.
3. Place the category die and hourglass timer in the center of the table.
4. Each side of the die represents one of the four categories:
• Playtime
• Crybaby
• The Village
• Nap Time
5. Everyone grabs a drink (water counts too — stay hydrated).
6. The oldest player starts the game and takes on the role of the first Babysitter. Play then moves clockwise.
⸻
How to Play
1. On your turn, roll the die.
2. The category you roll determines which deck you’ll draw from.
3. Draw the top card from that deck and read it aloud to the group.
4. Follow the instructions on the card.
5. If you draw a Playtime (Trivia) card, flip the hourglass timer immediately — you must answer before time runs out.
6. Once your turn is complete (or passed, if allowed), play moves to the next player clockwise.
Roll Rule:
If you roll the same category twice in a row, you may choose to re-roll or stick with it.
Play continues for as long as the group wants — or until the Babysitter finally needs a nap.
⸻
Card Types
Playtime (Yellow Deck)
Trivia-based cards that test how sharp you really are. Each card features a question you must answer before the hourglass runs out.
• Flip the hourglass as soon as the question is read aloud.
• Other players may use their phones to look up the correct answer — but only after the timer starts running.
• If you answer correctly before time expires, keep that card to the side — it counts as one point.
• If you answer incorrectly or time runs out, the card is discarded.
The first player to collect 15 correctly answered Playtime cards wins the title of Best Babysitter and ends the game — proving they can handle the chaos better than anyone else.
⸻
Crybaby (Blue Deck)
Dares and “do or drink” challenges for the bold — or the easily persuaded.
Some cards tell you what to do; others let you pick a player to complete the task instead.
If you refuse a dare, take a drink — but remember, the more you drink, the harder those trivia rounds get.
⸻
The Village (Black Deck)
Group-based cards that bring everyone into the mix.
These cards invite the entire group to participate — answering questions, completing challenges, or calling each other out.
Unless otherwise stated, start with the player to the right of the cardholder and go clockwise.
⸻
Nap Time (Pink Deck)
Calmer, pass-style cards meant to give you a quick break.
These may involve hydration reminders, word games, or song associations — but no drinking is required.
⸻
Optional Rules
• Re-Roll Pass: Each player gets one re-roll per game if they don’t want to pull from the category they landed on.
• Playtime Steal: If a player answers incorrectly, the person to their right can “steal” the question by answering correctly within 5 seconds.
• Quiet Hours: If someone interrupts another player’s turn or shouts over a timer, they automatically draw a Crybaby card.
⸻
End of Game
The game can end whenever the group decides — or once a player earns 15 correctly answered Playtime cards.
That player is declared the Ultimate Babysitter, officially proving they can hold it together longer than anyone else.
Everyone else? Time for a nap.

Back-of-Box Summary
Babysitting: The Adult Drinking Game
You’re all the babysitters now — but not everyone’s acting grown.
Roll the die, draw a card, and see what kind of chaos unfolds. Between trivia, dares, group challenges, and hydration breaks, only the sharpest player can survive the night sober enough to win.
With four categories — Playtime, Crybaby, The Village, and Nap Time — each round tests your focus, memory, and sense of humor. Answer fast, stay hydrated, and don’t crack under pressure.
The first player to correctly answer 15 Playtime trivia cards earns the title of Best Babysitter — because clearly, they’re the only responsible one left.
